Joseph A Bonura Jr. is the President and CEO at Bonura Custom Homes where he is the driving force behind development and innovation. Joe grew up in the restaurant and catering businesses working alongside his family.  From a young age Joe learned the value of hard work as he gained experience from the ground up performing every job in the family business starting as dishwasher, prep cook, line cook, server, bartender and manager.  Customer service and attention to detail were ingrained into Joe’s DNA as part of working in a successful hospitality company.

The family acted as General Contractor when constructing its own buildings so Joe was around construction constantly.  After earning degrees in Computer Science and Finance from the University of Virginia Joe moved back to the Hudson Valley to help grow the family business.

Since 2004, Joe has overseen the development and construction of over $200M in projects ranging from hotels, restaurants, marinas, golf course, luxury apartment homes and luxury single family homes in both the Hudson Valley of NY and now Naples, FL.  What sets Joe apart from other luxury home builders is his hands-on approach, willingness to get his hands dirty when necessary and personalized attention to each and every project.  If Joe is not on the jobsite he is thinking about it and any way possible to improve the customer experience and quality of the product being constructed.

Joe now lives full time in Naples, FL where he and his wife Jaime are proud parents of three daughters.  Aside from commercial work, Joe has served the local community in many roles including: Board of Directors for the Economic Development Corporation of Dutchess County, Walkway Over the Hudson, Community Foundations of the Hudson Valley. Chair of the Board of the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce in 2015 and recently served as Vice President for The Poughkeepsie Alliance.  Joe is currently serving as a member of the RPA Cabinet for Royal Palm Academy in Naples, FL.

Michael Bonura is a founding principal of Bonura Custom Homes. Mike is responsible for all aspects of hospitality and entertainment operations as well as oversight over all back office and accounting functions of the group. Concept development, menu development, programming, and implementation are some of his specific functions. Mike is especially versed at developing a mix of product offerings tailored to a specific marketplace under ever-changing socioeconomic pressures.

A magna cum laude graduate of the Wayne Calloway School of Business and Accountancy at Wake Forest University, Mike returned home to the family business right out of college in 2000. At that time, what would become the Bonura Hospitality Group consisted of a wedding venue in need of a rebranding and a hotel in need of a renovation. Over the next dozen years, under the stewardship of Mike and his brother Joe, Bonura Hospitality flourished into an eight-concept enterprise employing over 1200 people and hosting over 4000 events per year.

Beyond development of commercial endeavors, Mike has committed himself to giving back to the community in which he was born and raised. He is the incoming chair of the Board of Directors of the Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan Counties. Involvement at a high level with an organization that touches all nonprofit groups locally has truly connected Mike with causes that matter throughout the region.

As the Sales and Marketing Director at Bonura Custom Homes, Lynn partners with clients, guiding them with precision, passion, and profound understanding. Having facilitated over $300 million in new construction home sales, she understands that the pursuit of the perfect custom home is a journey filled with boundless excitement and its fair share of challenges. Rob Marino has joined Bonura Custom Homes as the Director of Construction. Rob has been in the construction industry for over 35 years, has been a licensed Building Contractor in Florida since 1993 and a licensed Florida Home Inspector since 2011.

Rob began his career building homes in New Hampshire, and after working on beautiful homes all over New England, he relocated to Lee County Florida in the spring of 1993. Since moving to Florida Rob has been exclusively involved in high end luxury home construction and renovation. Previously as a project manager and later as director of construction, he was responsible for completing hundreds of new luxury homes and remodeling projects in Grey Oaks, Mediterra, Talis Park, Colliers Reserve, Quail West, Pine Ridge Estates, the City of Naples, Aqualane Shores, Ft Myers and Ft Myers Beach.

Rob is an industry professional; you can expect a high level of integrity, honesty and forthright approach. He possesses a great depth of construction knowledge, a keen eye for high end finish details and a passion for innovation in construction practices.

Jennifer Bonura, a distinguished graduate of Wake Forest University with a Finance Degree, serves as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Bonura Custom Homes. With a wealth of financial acumen and strategic expertise, Jennifer is the financial steward behind the success of the organization.

In her role as CFO, Jennifer takes charge of managing banking relationships, overseeing budgets, and handling accounts payable and receivable. Her financial forecasting skills are a driving force in the company’s financial stability and growth. Additionally, Jennifer seamlessly manages human resources, ensuring that the company’s most valuable asset, its people, thrive in a dynamic work environment.

David is the visionary Creative Director at Bonura Custom Homes, renowned for his expertise in crafting captivating visual branding and marketing materials. His versatile skill set spans website development, video production, and print media, all aimed at bringing bold visions to life.

As an accomplished graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), David has been a valued member of the Bonura family since 2013. In this time, he has played an instrumental role in breathing life into multiple residential projects and ensuring their resounding success. David’s hands-on collaboration with the team and management has led to tailor-made solutions that set their projects apart.
